Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the rise and development in space travel. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In addition to covering impeachment trials of two presidents as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and both administrations attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other subjects. Her extensive travels with the Vice President and the President included an official trip to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter, before becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors in Science in journalism from Boston University. Kristin is married to her daughter, and their three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
